    With this top quality device, you can measure the moisture level of firewood, sawn wood, construction materials, paper, cardboard and toughened mortar, cement and plaster. + Display the surrounding temperature of the device in C or F. The moisture level in wood is shown, for example, as a percentage (6 to 42 % residual moisture). If the residual moisture is 18 % or above, the wood cannot be used for heating. The net calorific value is 4.2 KWh / Kg The best residual moisture value to have is 10 %, because this produces a net calorific value of approx. 4.6 KWh / Kg Fresh wood only has a net calorific value of 2.5 KWh / Kg For an accurate measurement, both tips must be well pushed into the wood!
