1950's Battery operated, Made in Japan, tin-type toy car...maybe Chevy or Ford?

On offer here is
a collectible, vintage

1950's)
Made in Japan,
tin-type Saloon car
. I am not quite sure, but could be a
FORD
or a
CHEVY
??  You collector's would know! The car measures 7 1/2" long and almost 3" across. Have tested it with a 1.5 v battery, no life, but could be something simple like a loose connector wire, but sold as is.
Nice old collector piece!
