    THE A. F. PONTZ AUCTION
Auction conducted by James G. Pennypacker
    Moose Hall, Lancaster Pennsylvania
Important Sale Date, Monday June 4, 1951
original 4 page illustrated brochure advertising this auction of an important grandfather clock collection (along with lots of other antiques, books and decorative arts - but it seems Mr. Pontz was best known for his clocks). Illustrated with 9 clocks (8 of them grandfather) plus one Chippendale China Cabinet.
Finished size of brochure is 9x12 inches.
There is a handwritten, inked note at the top of page [1]. I
    think
that is from Mr. Pontz himself as the note mentions a recent move and the auction brochure talks about Mr. Pontz's move into a smaller house. However,
    I don't guarantee
it to be written by Mr. Pontz as the note is
    unsigned
    .
Some wear - especially across one original lateral fold which is now about half split (see zoom). The other half of the crease though is holding okay.
    GOOD ONLY.
