    Alesis CD Twin - N382 - Audio - USB **Boxed RARE**  Mint*
    I have for sale a Alesis CD Twin Model N382 with Audio and USB connectors. I would like to say this is n ew (sorry about cryptic text, but eBay police) in box, but I opened it not realizing that it was n ew after seeing some scratches on the top (see photos) :-(.  For a second though I thought it still seemed new as everything seemed perfect in it, but I wondered  how did it have those scratches?  I then looked into the box and seen where someone had put staples in and through the box. :-(  (Note packaging, when I opened it the unit was facing the staples.)
    Inside the box, the unit is mint minus the scratches. The PSU box was closed and had not been opened. The goody bag was not closed, but looks like the glue has failed over time. The Nero CD is the same with the CD being perfect, but the glue clearly having failed time too. The USB cable is sealed, the Audio cable looked sealed, and the manual looks like it has never been removed. (I did not remove anything from the goody bag, other than the CD to see it's condition; this was before I seen the staples..)
    At this point I decided to test the unit, and with that all I did was add power and opened the lids as they are electronically controlled. I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO PLAY OR BURN ANY CD'S.  My testing here is it powers on and the CD's lids open fine.  This really is a n ew item, but to keep eBay police happy, I am listing it as Open Box.
