    Prayer wheels are an exclusively Tibetan Buddhist praying instrument  and usually bears the mantra "OM MANI PADME HUM" The six syllables mantra of the buddha of compassion,  Avalokitesvara.
    The syllabus are found on the outside of the wheel as well as well kept inside the wheel printed in the paper scroll numerous times.
