  • Condition: This copy of Corel Linux Standard was one of my first endeavors into Linux. This was purchased secondhand, but is complete. The outter box is still shrink wrapped, except where the UPC was cut away from the outer box and taped to seal where the cardboard is missing. This does not affect the box integrity because the inner cardboard box is what protects the contents. Other than that, I have kept the three installation discs, boot diskette, and documentation in excellent condition. Please review the photos for closeup details of the software media condition.

    Calling all Tux fans...here is a retail copy of Corel Linux OS Standard for your retro PC build or virtual machine. Corel built this distro on Debian/GNU Linux at its core, and gave KDE as the default user environment. Included with the Installation Disc were the Source Code and Open Circulation Discs. These provided a local software installation repository to get a beginner started, and a well-seasoned developer deep into the open source code.
    The system requirements are very lightweight. The target system only needs a Pentium Processor, 64 MB RAM. 500MB of hard drive space, and a VGA video card with at least 2 MB video memory. Given the long-term support of Debian, and the ease of use of KDE, this software package would bring a retro PC build or laptop to life in a very nostalgic manner.
