Estes Boy Scouts Space Exploration Flying Model Rocket Kit. This is a wonderful skill level one flying model rocket kit made specially for the Boy Scouts.
It is an impressive 22 inches tall and will fly to 1125 feet on a standard Estes C model rocket engine (not included).
It will also fly well on an A or B engine. The Space Exploration model recovers on an included 12 inch parachute so it can be flown again and again.
These kits are now discontinued and were previously only offered through scouting stores in bulk packs.
They never appeared in any Estes catalog, in the Estes web store, or in hobby stores.
This is your chance to own a rarely seen, really unusual, striking looking and performing model.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BUILD:
Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement,
hobby knife, masking tape, clear tape, primer (white), paint (blue, white) and clear coat (optional).
(Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO LAUNCH (Sold Separately): Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad and Electron Beam Launch Controller,
Estes model rocket engines, starters and recovery wadding.
Four 1.5V high quality AA alkaline batteries are also required for launch controller (not included).
