Please note
: for stove pot popping, use at least a 6 quart if not an 8 quart pot with a fitting cover (you will need to hold the lid DOWN while popping so the HOT popcorn, oil and salt do not spay out and splatter you). An 8 quart or larger pot is recommended. And 8 oz. packs pop a lot of popcorn. Always remain at the stove with Lid Held Down while popping, and sift the pot back and forth to avoid burning.
