Description
This listing is for a fully functional, 1950's BATTERY OPERATED "PINKEE" THE FARMER TRUCK as shown. It is in excellent - mint condition. Very clean undamaged toy. No rust or corrosion anywhere. Nice rubber tires. Minty chrome bumper, hubcaps, headlights and grill. When switch is turned on, all 7 actions occur as follows: (1) Truck moves forward with mystery bump-n-go movement, (2) Pinkee turns his head as if checking on his pigs then back to continuing his driving, (3) Pistons in the engine realistically move up & down, (4) Red light flashes inside the engine, (5) Chrome fan blade spins around, (6) All three pigs restlessly move their heads, (7) An oinking / squealing pig sound is made. Battery compartment is super clean, as are the connections. This is a "MADE IN JAPAN" toy listed in Don Hultzman's book, COLLECTOR'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS, copyright 2002, second edition. It is listed & pictured on page 135. It is a 1950's vintage toy made by the T-N Nomura Co. and distributed by Showa brands. It has a rarity of 5 on a scale to 10 being the rarest, and a value of 0.00 in C-10 condition. This would make an excellent addition to any Hot Rod Ford, Chevy, Mopar or Indy toy car collection.
