    Description

This listing is for a fully functional 1960's G.M. COACH PASSENGER BUS as shown. These city buses were in operation from 1959 thru the 1960's and then some. These were the "Fishbowl" buses I fondly remember from my youth. We rode them everywhere......This toy bus is a fine working example. Turn the switch "on" and the headlights come on and it moves forward with mystery bump-n-go action. Press the red button on the roof and the bus comes to a stop, its headlights shut off, the red light by the bus doors comes on as the passengers move forward as if they will be leaving the bus. The bus door opens and a woman swings around as if stepping off the bus. After a few seconds the door closes and the sequence repeats itself. Very cool toy. The condition of the bus is excellent - near mint condition. No damaged or broken parts. All the windows are intact with no cracks anywhere. Tin litho is not faded. Still crisp sharp colors. No rust or corrosion anywhere. This is a "MADE IN JAPAN"  toy manufactured by the Yonezawa "Y" Co. and distributed by Rosko Toys. A very nice and clean vehicle for your transportation themed toy collection. Many other 1950's & 1960's battery operated and mechanical tin litho wind up toys are listed in auction & my EBAY store.
