    Details:
    Delta Tip Tinner is designed for cleaning and re-tinning of highly oxidized soldering iron tips; and is available in both leaded and both high and low melting temperature lead-free alloys. Delta Tip Tinner is a mixture of solder powder and thermally stable, oxide-reducing compounds. Delta Tip Tinner provides better cleaning than a wet sponge or rosin-cored wire.
    Application:
    While maintaining soldering iron at operating temperature, roll or wipe soldering iron tip over the surface of Delta Tip Tinner for a short time. Prolonged contact may create excessive fumes. Under normal usage, the fumes are very minimal and usually stop within seconds after soldering iron is withdrawn from the Tip Tinner. The residue remaining after heating is minimal and non-corrosive. It can be readily removed by wiping with a wet sponge.
