    A Norlund Voyager Hatchet
    with a
    Leather Bit Cover
    The piece is in excellent condition, probably restored. The handle is solid and smooth.  It is robustly secured with a steel wedge and epoxy.
    The only marking I see is the "Norlund" hallmark on the bit.  There's no markings on the handle.
    The leather cover is in good condition with brass rivets.  It looks to be more recently made.
    The overall length is 12 inches.  The bit is 5-1/4 inches long with an edge that's 3-1/8 inches.  The total weight, not including the cover, is 1 lb 5 oz.
    The edge is well-formed and sharp.
