VINTAGE 1950s-60s JAPAN TIN BATTERY OPERATED BURGER CHEF TOY FOR PARTS or REPAIR

THIS TOY DOES NOT WORK AND IS OFFERED FOR PARTS OR RESTORATION. This is a vintage battery / batt / bat operated toy made in the 1950's or early 1960's. it is marked: "BURGER CHEF". Near the on - off switch, it is marked: "MADE IN JAPAN" and has the Yone /Yoneazawa trademark. The base and grill are tin. The dog / chef is made of cloth covered tin. It SHOULD run on 2 D cell batteries. When tested, the light in the grill comes on, but NO OTHER FUNCTIONS WORKED. In addition, the dog is MISSING HIS LEFT HAND. Also missing the salt shaker, which was in his left hand, and the burger patty. There is a hole in his shirt, around his left elbow. NO BOX. If you are repairing a similar toy, perhaps this one will offer parts. He still displays fairly well, and would make a nice "shelf sitter." It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
