    Description

NOTE: THE COLORED TEXT SEEN ON THESE PHOTOS IS NOT ACTUALLY ON WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.
From Jane's All the World's Planes, 1940 edition.  OK, trivia time.  Heard of the mystery author Neville Shute??  His full name was Neville Shute Norway and he was an aeronautical engineer who worked on projects as far back as the Royal Flying Corps lighter than air ships.  R-100??  Anyway, as he was designing planes he was also trying to get his writing career off the ground.  It worked eventually and he gave up plane designing but not before designing the Airspeed Oxford and selling it to the Air Ministry.  Interesting guy who wrote an interesting autobiography.  The reverse features some ads for smaller companies involved in aircraft manufacture in the day.
This ad was carefully sliced out of the book and measures 7 1/2" wide by 12 1/2" tall.  It will be mailed flat in a manila envelope.  I can ship many of these ads for the one base shipping rate but you must wait for me to send you and invoice otherwise eBay just keeps stacking the shipping fees on.
Thanks for looking in at one of my auctions and best of luck.
